About the Organizer

Ottawa Donors

Ottawa Donors was created by Jenn Bruno and Filomena Pasqua to spread awareness for ‪organ donation. On October 7th 2015, Jenn donated 75% of her ‎liver to Filomena’s father and saved his ‪‎life. Through this experience, they wanted to reach as many people as possible in the Ottawa and surrounding areas in hopes that they will register to become an organ‪ donor. Jenn and Filomena host events annually supporting the Transplant Patient and Family Support Fund. This Fund provides support for patients and their families in the Transplant Program who have experienced financial challenges as a result of their diagnosis and treatment journey.
