About Berlin Blockchain Hackathon

Blockchain Hackathon

Hosted by the Blockstack team (

The Blockstack team will be onsite for the hackathon over the weekend.  We look forward to meeting you and will be on hand to help with technical questions and we will give you an introduction on what we are working on at Blockstack.  It is important to note that attendees are free to work on any project or protocol and you own what you create over the weekend.  We look forward to seeing you in Berlin soon!

Do you have an idea you'd like to pursue or a problem you'd like to solve but don't know where to start or who to start with?

Come to the Berlin blockchain hackathon to look for a team, create a prototype of your idea, validate your business idea, and receive feedback from experienced entrepreneurs, all in one weekend. You'll be immersed in the ideal environment for startup magic to happen.  Work with blockchain developers to build projects in one action packed weekend. The ultimate hands-on learning experience, blockchain hackathon allows innovators from all disciplines to team up for an intensive experience in hacking on the blockchain.

What do you need to bring?

Lots of energy! You'll pitch your own idea or listen to others, then vote on the most interesting ideas and form teams with diverse skill sets. You can come with friends or as an existing team.  Most attendees do not know anyone in the room when they arrive and join teams on Friday night.
Your idea should be something related to blockchain and over the course of the weekend you'll be challenged to create a prototype of your MVP, or minimum viable product, that fits the needs of your target customer. You'll get feedback, iterate, and likely pivot your approach entirely!

Blockchain Hackathon is a full weekend long experience. Your ticket includes:
  • 7 full (and delicious) meals over the course of the weekend
  • Benefits and discounts from our global partners
  • One-on-one time with amazing mentors
  • A new network of developers, designers, and entrepreneurs eager, like you, to change the world.
  • All the internet and coffee you can consume.
